Arabic is the case most tools get wrong. Right-to-left text needs more than a font swap — alignment, bullet direction, and the way mixed Arabic-and-Latin strings (an English company name inside an Arabic sentence, for instance) are laid out all have to be handled correctly, or the PDF renders as visually broken even when every word is right. Arabic CVs are generated with proper RTL layout and export to PDF without the reversed-punctuation and misaligned-bullet artifacts that usually give away a machine-translated document.
Being clear about the boundary: choosing a language changes the language, not the document's structure. It won't add a photo for markets that expect one, insert the personal-details block a French or German CV conventionally includes, or switch to a country-specific layout.
